While Ambra is supported on any of the following browsers: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Safari, the platform tends to work with varying degrees of consistency across the four. This is particularly true in the case of uploading. If you are having trouble uploading, try using the browsers in the order listed below.
Google Chrome: This is the native browser for the Ambra suite and should be used whenever possible. Because Chrome is a Java-less browser you do not need to make any additional installations to upload with Chrome. If you are having a hard time uploading, a good first step is to try to upload using Chrome. Wrapped DICOM files are best uploaded using Google Chrome. [Download Google Chrome]
Mozilla Firefox (Java Required): This is the second best browser for use with Ambra. In rare cases, it is possible that while uploading with Chrome the study will get "stuck" on the last image - if this happens to you, try uploading using Mozilla Firefox. [Download Mozilla Firefox]
Internet Explorer (Java Required): Due to its popularity with Windows operating systems internet explorer is widely used by our customers. However, Internet Explorer tends to be the least compatible browser for use with Ambra. If you have difficulty uploading with Internet Explorer a good first step to troubleshoot is using one of the other listed browsers. [Download Internet Explorer]
Safari (Java Required): If you have difficulty uploading with Safari a good first step to troubleshoot is using one of the other listed browsers.
It is never a bad idea to make sure the browser you are using has been updated to its latest version. To do this, go into the settings section of that browser to check that it is up to date.
